The HP OfficeJet 250 prints, copies and scans in a compact battery-powered chassis. It produces up to 10 ppm black and 7 ppm colour on AC power, dropping to 9 ppm and 6 ppm on battery. Output reaches 4800 x 1200 optimised dpi for colour and 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi for black. Monthly duty cycle is rated at 500 pages with a recommended volume of 100 to 300 pages.

10-page ADF and touchscreen change daily workflow

A 10-page automatic document feeder handles multi-page jobs without manual feeding. The 2.65-inch colour touchscreen provides direct control for copy, scan and wireless setup. HP 62 and 62XL cartridges are the only supported supplies, with high-yield XL versions available for lower cost per page. Manual duplex printing is supported for two-sided output.

USB and wireless setup with Windows 7 to 10

Connect via USB or Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth Smart for cable-free printing from laptops and phones. Driver installation requires Windows 10, 8.1, 8 or 7 (32 or 64-bit), 2 GB free disk space and an Internet connection or optical drive. No Ethernet port is present, so wired LAN environments need a separate bridge. Battery charging uses the supplied AC adapter or a compatible vehicle charger.
