Gamers and Creators Needing High Refresh Rate

This laptop suits users who want a large high-refresh screen and dedicated graphics for gaming or content creation. The 10-core CPU and RTX 5060 handle modern titles and editing workloads. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a 2-in-1 convertible design or a fingerprint reader should look elsewhere, as this model lacks those features.

GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7

The dedicated GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory is the specification that determines graphics performance for gaming and GPU-accelerated applications.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR5 model or a different capacity?

This laptop ships with 32 GB DDR5 memory soldered to the board; there is no second SO-DIMM slot, so the capacity cannot be changed after purchase.

What does the 144 Hz refresh rate mean for everyday gaming?

The 17.3 inch IPS panel refreshes at up to 144 Hz with a 7 ms response time, delivering smoother motion in fast-paced titles when the RTX 5060 can push frame rates that high.

What does the USB Type-C 10 Gbps port with DisplayPort 2.1 actually support?

The single USB-C port runs at 10 Gbps, carries DisplayPort 2.1 video, supports USB Power Delivery for charging, and includes HP Sleep and Charge for powering peripherals while the laptop sleeps.
