OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop

The OMEN 35L is a tower desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 64 GB of memory and a 2 TB solid-state drive. It ships with Windows 11 Home and targets users who want high-end gaming and content-creation performance in a single system. The Shadow black chassis measures 16.14 inches high, 16.06 inches wide and 8.27 inches deep.

Installation and common issues

The system arrives fully assembled so setup is limited to connecting power, peripherals and a display. The tower form factor allows straightforward access to internal bays for future storage or memory upgrades. Some builders report that the front-panel airflow path can restrict GPU thermals if high-wattage cards are installed without additional case fans. Cable routing channels are adequate but may require zip ties for a clean look.

Sustained-load behaviour

Under continuous heavy workloads the Core Ultra 9 285K can reach 5.7 GHz via Turbo Boost while the 64 GB memory buffer keeps large assets resident. The 2 TB SSD maintains consistent read and write speeds during extended rendering or game-loading sessions. Thermal throttling is minimal when the stock cooling solution is kept free of dust and the chassis has open space around its vents.
