Built for AI workloads

The Intel Core Ultra 7 256V pairs an 8-core CPU with an integrated AI Boost engine and a discrete GeForce RTX 4050 GPU carrying 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s RAM and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD complete a platform ready for local inference, content creation and gaming on a 17.3 inch FHD touch panel.

Connectivity that clears desk space

A single Thunderbolt 4 port delivers 40 Gbps signalling, USB Power Delivery 3.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 for docks or external GPUs. Two additional USB Type-C and three USB Type-A ports at 10 Gbps each handle peripherals, while HDMI 2.1 drives a second 4K display. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 replace wired links for most setups.

Sustained output with a 100-watt adapter

The 6-cell battery and 100-watt AC adapter feed the Ultra 7 up to its 4.8 GHz turbo ceiling during long renders or training runs. Vapor-chamber cooling keeps surface temperatures steady so the RTX 4050 maintains clocks without throttling, and the 400-nit 100% sRGB screen stays colour-accurate throughout extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V throttle at its 4.8 GHz turbo under sustained load?

The processor reaches 4.8 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology; sustained clocks depend on the laptop's thermal design and workload.

How loud do the fans get and what is the surface temperature during all-day use?

Fan noise and chassis temperature vary with workload; the 100-watt AC adapter supplies power for the RTX 4050 and CPU under load.

Is the 16 GB LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s RAM soldered or can I add a module later?

The 16 GB LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s memory is integrated and not user-upgradable.
