36U Advanced G2 Pallet Rack

The HP P9K05A provides a 36U kitted advanced pallet rack measuring 600mm by 1075mm. It is built for data-centre rows that need a standardised, high-density frame for server and networking equipment. The black finish matches existing HP infrastructure aesthetics.

Replaces basic open frames

This rack upgrades from simple two-post or unkitted four-post frames when you require integrated cable management, stabilisers and baying hardware in one kit. The jump is worth it when your deployment demands rapid, repeatable assembly across multiple floor tiles without sourcing separate accessory packs.

Questions about this item

What floor space does the 600mm by 1075mm rack footprint require?

The rack occupies a 600mm wide by 1075mm deep floor area. Ensure the installation site provides this clear space plus room for door swing and cable routing at the rear.

How are the 36U mounting rails secured, and what step is often missed?

The kitted rails bolt to the frame using the supplied hardware. The step often missed is tightening all rail bolts to the specified torque before loading equipment to prevent rail shift under weight.
