Refurbished 16-inch WUXGA laptop

This HP Pavilion 16-af0066st arrives in refurbished condition with Windows 11 Home installed. It targets everyday users who need a larger 16.0-inch IPS display for documents, web browsing and media consumption. The 1920 x 1200 panel offers a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness and 62.5% sRGB coverage for comfortable indoor viewing.

12-core Ultra 5 with 8 GB LPDDR5 and 512 GB NVMe

The Intel Core Ultra 5 125U runs 12 cores and 14 threads at 1.3 GHz base up to 4.3 GHz boost with 12 MB L3 cache. Shared Intel Graphics handles light creative tasks and video playback. Onboard 8 GB LPDDR5-6400 memory cannot be expanded, so heavy multitasking or virtual machines will hit the limit quickly. The 512 GB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe drive provides fast boot and app loading.

Integrated graphics and soldered memory define

Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.3 cover modern wireless needs without extra hardware. The 16:10 screen frees vertical space for code or spreadsheets. No optical drive and no touchscreen keep the chassis simple. Buyers who want more storage, user-replaceable RAM or discrete graphics should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the Realtek Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 card connect reliably with my older router and peripherals?

The Realtek Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless card supports backward-compatible standards so it will work with older routers and Bluetooth devices, though maximum speeds depend on the other equipment.

How can I verify the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U is reaching its 4.3 GHz boost clock after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a monitoring tool such as HWMonitor and run a demanding single-thread workload; the CPU frequency should rise toward 4.3 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Does the box include a power adapter and are the 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM or 512 GB NVMe SSD upgradeable?

The refurbished unit comes with a compatible HP USB-C power adapter; both the 8 GB LPDDR5-6400 memory and the 512 GB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD are soldered onboard and cannot be upgraded.
