Ready-to-play compact gaming desktop

This HP ProDesk G2 small-form-factor system pairs a 6th Generation Intel Core i5-6500 running at 3.20 GHz up to 3.60 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB GDDR5 graphics card drives 4K-capable DisplayPort outputs. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Thermals and acoustics in a slim chassis

The small form factor concentrates the 65 W processor and discrete GPU into a tight volume, so sustained loads raise internal temperatures faster than in larger towers. Fan curves respond by spinning higher, producing audible airflow during extended gaming sessions. Idle power draw remains modest for office tasks and media playback.

RGB peripherals and wireless convenience

A wired RGB keyboard and mouse ship in the box, with a remote controller that lets you adjust colour, pattern and brightness without software installation. A USB Wi-Fi adapter is also bundled, adding wireless connectivity to a platform that otherwise relies on wired Ethernet. No additional accessories are included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the GTX 1050 Ti into the SFF chassis, and which bracket size is the common mistake?

The GTX 1050 Ti is already installed in the PCIe x16 slot; the only step is connecting the monitor cable to the card’s DisplayPort or HDMI, not the motherboard ports.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16GB DDR4 memory need later?

The board supports up to 64 GB DDR4; you can add modules to the free slots or replace the existing kit with higher-capacity DDR4 sticks when more memory is required.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming on the GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5?

The 4 GB GDDR5 frame buffer fills before the GPU core saturates, so texture quality must be lowered once VRAM is exhausted.
