Complete desktop bundle

This HP ProDesk G2 tower ships with a 22-inch monitor, wired keyboard and wired mouse so the system is ready to use immediately. The package includes Windows 10 Pro pre-installed and a 1660 SUPER graphics card with 6 GB DDR6 memory. No additional peripherals are required for a typical home or office setup.

Accessories and software impact

The included monitor eliminates the need for a separate display purchase, while the wired keyboard and mouse provide basic input without batteries or pairing. Windows 10 Pro adds business-oriented features such as BitLocker and Remote Desktop that are not present in Home editions. The 1660 SUPER GPU enables hardware-accelerated encoding for streaming or light creative work.

Suitability and limits

Buyers wanting a compact form factor or a newer processor architecture should consider other configurations. The tower chassis requires desk space and the 6th-generation i5-6500 may not meet minimum requirements for the latest AAA titles or heavy multi-threaded workloads. Users needing more than 64 GB of memory or additional PCIe expansion slots will find the platform restrictive.

Questions about this item

Can the 16 GB DDR4 memory be expanded beyond the 64 GB maximum supported?

The system supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory across its available slots.

Will the GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB DDR6 graphics card hit a thermal or power limit first during long gaming sessions?

The card has a 6 GB DDR6 frame buffer; sustained loads will typically saturate VRAM before the GPU core reaches its thermal ceiling.

How loud is the tower and 22" monitor when the PC runs all day under load?

The tower uses standard HP cooling; fan noise rises with CPU and GPU load but stays within typical office ambient levels.
