The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 processor with twelve cores at 2.3 GHz and 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory into a 1U chassis. Four 3.5-inch 300 GB 15 K SAS drives connect through the Smart HBA H240ar controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 500 W redundant power supplies keep the platform running in space-constrained racks. No operating system is included.

Twelve cores and twenty-four threads handle parallel workloads such as virtualisation hosts or database nodes without the frequency drops seen in short-burst benchmarks. The 15 K SAS spindles deliver consistent IOPS for random read-write patterns, while the H240ar maintains RAID parity calculations under continuous throughput. DDR4 registered DIMMs with ECC protect data integrity during long compute runs. Redundant power supplies share load evenly, preventing thermal throttling during extended duty cycles.

Verify that your rack provides 1U height and sufficient depth for the chassis. Confirm the facility can supply two independent power circuits for the redundant 500 W units.
