Wireless AP with Wi-Fi 6E and ZigBee

The HP R7J28A AP-635 US is a wireless access point that delivers Wi-Fi 6E across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and ZigBee for IoT connectivity. The unit provides a maximum data transfer rate of 2.4 Gbps.

Installation requirements and alternatives

This access point suits environments that need tri-band Wi-Fi 6E alongside Bluetooth 5.0 and ZigBee in a single indoor device. It is not for buyers who require outdoor-rated hardware or PoE-only power options.

2.5 GBase-T wired uplink

The wired uplink uses a 2.5 GBase-T RJ-45 port alongside an HPE Smart Rate RJ-45 port, a console micro-USB port and a USB 2.0 Type A port. This combination determines whether the AP fits the existing network infrastructure.
