Each unit supports IEEE 802.11ac Wave 1 and 2 with MU-MIMO technology for multi-user throughput. The access points operate on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with internal omnidirectional antennas. They are suited for businesses deploying managed wireless coverage across multiple rooms or floors.

Passive Cooling and PoE Power

The access points have no moving parts and rely on passive thermal dissipation within the specified operating range of 0°C to 50°C. Each unit draws power through IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet on either of the two Gigabit RJ-45 ports. The second Ethernet port allows wired uplinks or daisy-chaining without a separate power supply. Acoustic output is negligible in normal office conditions.

Included Mounting Hardware Only

The three-pack ships with ceiling-mount brackets and hardware for each access point. No separate controller appliance or licence keys are bundled; management is handled through the Cisco Business mobile app or web dashboard. The RJ-45 console port and USB 2.0 port are present but marked non-functional in the specifications. Buyers needing PoE injectors or additional cabling must source those separately.
