HP Victus 15.6 laptop i5-12450H GTX 1650 32GB 1TB

This HP Victus is a 15.6 inch FHD laptop built around an Intel Core i5-12450H processor with 8 cores and a 4.4 GHz max boost clock. It pairs an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD. Windows 11 comes pre-installed for immediate use.

Suits multitaskers and entry gamers.

The 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD give plenty of headroom for photo editing, video projects and many browser tabs at once. The GTX 1650 handles mainstream titles at 1080p with playable frame rates. Buyers who need higher refresh rates for competitive shooters or more VRAM for modern AAA textures should look elsewhere.

GTX 1650 4GB GPU decides 1080p gaming ceiling

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 is the component that sets the limit for 3D performance in this configuration. It delivers solid frame rates in older and less demanding games at 1920 x 1080 resolution. If your workflow or game library requires more graphics memory or newer architecture features, this GPU will be the bottleneck.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32GB DDR4 configuration or look for a different capacity?

The laptop ships with 32GB DDR4 already installed, giving plenty of high-bandwidth memory for games, photo and video editing, and many browser tabs at once.

What does the 4.4 GHz boost clock mean when I am actually gaming or rendering?

The Core i5-12450H can raise its speed from a 2.0 GHz base up to 4.4 GHz on demanding threads, so heavy workloads get extra frequency when thermal headroom allows.

Which display output standard does the HDMI 2.1 port support and what resolution does it cap at?

The HDMI 2.1 output can drive external monitors at up to 1920 x 1080, matching the panel’s native FHD resolution.
