HP Victus 15 Ryzen 5 8645HS

The HP Victus 15 gaming laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS 6-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6GB GDDR6 graphics card. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. A 15.6" FHD 144Hz display and Windows 11 Home complete the package for gamers and creators needing strong mobile performance.

Sustained load behaviour

The 8645HS CPU runs at a 4.30GHz base frequency and can reach 5.0GHz turbo across its 12 threads, while the RTX 4050 laptop GPU maintains its 6GB GDDR6 frame buffer during extended sessions. The 144Hz panel keeps motion smooth without frame pacing drops. The PCIe SSD sustains high throughput for level streaming and large asset loads over long periods.

Thermals noise and power

The 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inch chassis weighing 5.06 lbs houses cooling that manages the 6-core CPU and discrete GPU under typical gaming workloads. Fan noise remains present but controlled during normal use. The system draws power from its included adapter to feed the CPU, GPU, 144Hz display and 64GB DDR5 simultaneously without throttling in standard scenarios.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Ryzen 5 8645HS get when the laptop runs all day?

The 6-core Ryzen 5 8645HS operates at a 4.30 GHz base clock and can boost to 5.0 GHz. Sustained loads will raise chassis temperature and fan speed; the 15.6 inch chassis and 0.93 inch profile limit cooling capacity compared with larger laptops.

What must I already own to start using this Victus 15 right away?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home, 64 GB DDR5 memory, a 1 TB PCIe SSD and an Office 2024 licence. Only the supplied power adapter is required; no extra RAM, storage or OS media are needed.

Will my older USB-A peripherals and HDMI monitor work with the ports on this model?

Yes. The unit provides two Superspeed USB Type-A ports and one HDMI output, so legacy mice, keyboards, drives and external displays connect directly without adapters.
