15.6" 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 combines a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz display with a 12-core Intel Core i5-12500H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD provide fast load times for modern titles. Windows 11 Home and Office 2024 are pre-installed.

Upgrade from integrated or entry-level graphics

The RTX 4050 with 6GB video memory replaces integrated graphics or older discrete GPUs, enabling higher frame rates at 1080p. The jump is worth it when you want 144Hz gaming on a portable chassis without moving to a heavier workstation-class machine.

Fits a portable desk setup

At 14.09 by 10.04 by 0.93 inches and 5.06 pounds, the grey chassis slides into a standard backpack. Ports include USB 3.0 Type-A, USB Type-C, HDMI, RJ-45, a combo audio jack and an SD card reader, so external monitors, wired networking and peripherals connect directly. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth handle wireless links.

Questions about this item

What are the exact chassis dimensions for the 15.6 inch Victus 15?

The laptop measures 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inches and weighs 5.06 pounds, so verify your bag or sleeve fits those numbers.

Which screws and clips must be removed to open the base for an SSD upgrade?

Remove all visible base screws, then pry the bottom cover from the front edge near the SD card reader to release the hidden clips without cracking the plastic.

When will the 16 GB DDR5 memory or 2 TB PCIe SSD need replacement?

The 16 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe SSD have no fixed lifespan; replace the SSD if SMART health drops below 80 % or add a second stick when 16 GB limits multitasking.
