HP Victus 15 Raider Blue laptop

This HP Victus 15 Raider Blue laptop combines a 15.6 inch 144Hz FHD anti-glare display with an Intel Core i5-12450H 8-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics with 4GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR4 RAM, a 1TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2021 licence. The system targets gamers and creators who need a ready-to-use portable workstation.

Build integration and expansion

The chassis measures 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inches and weighs 5.06 pounds, fitting standard 15-inch laptop bags and sleeves. Connectivity includes one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB Type-A ports at 5Gbps, one USB Type-C port at 5Gbps, an RJ-45 Ethernet jack and a multi-format SD card reader. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth handle wireless links while the backlit keyboard supports low-light work. The 1TB PCIe SSD and 32GB DDR4 leave no immediate storage or memory gaps.

Ideal users and alternatives

Buyers wanting a balanced 1080p gaming machine with ample memory and a professional OS licence will find this configuration suitable. Users who require a higher-tier GPU, a touchscreen, a fingerprint reader or a lighter ultraportable form factor should evaluate other models. The fixed 4GB video memory also limits very high texture workloads.

Questions about this item

How long can the Intel Core i5-12450H sustain its 4.4 GHz turbo frequency before thermal throttling limits performance?

The processor runs at a 1.5 GHz base clock and can reach 4.4 GHz turbo; under sustained load the cooling system will eventually limit how long that peak frequency is held.

What are the typical fan noise and surface temperatures when the RTX 3050 and 8-core CPU run all day?

The 144 Hz FHD display and 32 GB DDR4 memory share the same thermal zone as the RTX 3050 4 GB GDDR6 GPU, so extended gaming sessions will raise chassis heat and fan speed noticeably.

Which external monitor cables or docks are required to use the HDMI 2.1 and USB-C 5 Gbps ports for a dual-screen setup?

The laptop provides one HDMI 2.1 output and one USB-C port with 5 Gbps signaling; a standard HDMI cable and a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI adapter are all that is needed.
