This 2022 HP Victus is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-12450H processor with 8 cores and 12 threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card includes 4 GB of GDDR5 memory.

Suits 1080p gamers and multitaskers.

The 144 Hz FHD IPS panel and GTX 1650 suit players targeting 1080p at high refresh rates. The 32GB memory handles heavy multitasking and content workloads. Buyers who need higher resolutions or more VRAM for modern AAA titles at ultra settings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 GB DDR4-3200 memory or 512 GB PCIe 4x4 NVMe SSD need replacing later?

The laptop ships with two 16 GB DDR4-3200 modules and a single M.2 NVMe drive; both slots and the drive bay are accessible for future upgrades if you need more capacity.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the GTX 1650 4 GB GDDR5?

The 4 GB GDDR5 frame buffer on the GTX 1650 will fill before the CPU or system RAM, capping texture detail in newer titles at 1080p.

How loud and hot does the 15.6" 144 Hz IPS chassis get when running all day?

The 144 Hz IPS panel runs at 250 nits; under sustained load the dual-fan cooling keeps surface temperatures manageable while fan noise rises to a noticeable but not disruptive level.
