A 36.40 GB internal SCSI hard drive spinning at 10000 rpm with an Ultra320 interface in a 1-inch form factor
This HPE hard drive delivers 36.40 GB of storage on a 10000 rpm spindle with an Ultra320 SCSI interface. It is a 1-inch internal drive built as an HP Qualified Option for compatible enterprise storage systems. The unit is supplied in new condition.
This drive fits servers and storage enclosures that accept a 1-inch Ultra320 SCSI disk at 10000 rpm. It is not for systems that use a different physical interface or form factor. Buyers who need higher capacities or newer interface standards should look at other parts.
The single specification that determines fit is the Ultra320 SCSI interface standard. Only controllers and backplanes that support this exact SCSI signalling can use the drive. Verify the host interface before purchase.

Mount the 1" internal drive in a compatible bay, connect the Ultra320 SCSI cable, and configure a unique SCSI ID using the drive jumpers so it does not conflict with other devices on the same bus.
The 10000 rpm spindle bearings are the primary wear item; plan to replace the drive if noise increases or SMART errors appear, and keep firmware current via the HPE support site.
The 320 MB/s bus ceiling of the Ultra320 SCSI interface will saturate before the 36.40 GB drive reaches its internal throughput limit during long sequential workloads.
