Dual-port 10Gb SFP+ server adapter

The HPE 652503-B21 is a PCIe x8 expansion card that provides two SFP+ ports for 10GBase-X networking. It uses a single-chip Broadcom NetXtreme II controller to deliver full line-rate throughput while keeping power draw low. The card is qualified for HPE ProLiant Gen8 rack and tower servers.

Ideal for Gen8 server upgrades.

This adapter suits administrators adding 10Gb connectivity to supported Gen8 platforms where a low-profile, dual-port SFP+ card is required. Buyers using non-Gen8 servers, workstations or desktop motherboards should look elsewhere because the qualification and bracket are specific to that server line.

PCIe x8 host interface determines fit

The card requires an available PCI Express x8 slot (or a larger slot wired for x8) in a compatible Gen8 chassis. If the target system lacks such a slot or uses a different generation, the adapter cannot be installed.
