This HPE cable assembly connects an optical drive to both a SATA port on the system I/O board and a power supply backplane connector. It is designed specifically for the ProLiant DL160 G8 server series. The single cable handles data transfer and power delivery in one Y-shaped assembly.

SATA interface limits for optical drives
