SKU CH-CGGW-WEBDB MPN J9990A

A 24-port module delivering 20 PoE+ copper ports and four SFP+ uplinks for 1 GbE or 10 GbE connectivity

  • 20 PoE+ ports power phones and cameras directly
  • Four SFP+ slots enable 1 GbE or 10 GbE uplinks
  • 24 total ports give dense connectivity in one module
  • Gigabit copper ports support 10/100/1000 speeds

24-port PoE+ switch module

The HPE J9990A is a zl2 switch module that adds twenty-four ports to compatible Aruba chassis. Twenty ports deliver 10/100/1000BASE-T connectivity with PoE+ power for access points, cameras or phones. Four additional ports accept 1G or 10GbE SFP+ transceivers for uplinks or stacking links.

MACsec v3 on copper and fibre

MACsec v3 encryption runs on every copper and SFP+ port, protecting traffic without extra licences. The SFP+ cages accept a mix of 1G and 10G optics, so uplink speed matches the aggregation layer. The module slides into a zl2 slot, drawing power from the chassis and requiring no separate power supply.
