25 Gigabit SFP28 Transceiver

The HPE Juniper Networking SFP-25G-SR-C is an SFP28 transceiver module built for 25 Gigabit LAN connections. It provides a direct link between compatible switches, routers or servers in enterprise environments. The module suits network teams deploying high-density 25G links over short-reach fibre. It is not for users who need longer-reach optics or different form factors.

Thermals and power in normal use

The transceiver operates within standard SFP28 power limits during typical 25G traffic loads. Heat output remains low enough for dense chassis installations without extra cooling steps. Acoustic noise is negligible because the module has no moving parts. Power draw stays consistent across supported link distances.
