Outdoor MIMO Antenna Kit

The Aruba Ant-2x2-2005 is a dual-band outdoor antenna kit designed for wireless data networks and access points. It operates across the 2.40 to 2.50 GHz range with 5 dBi gain. The kit suits network engineers extending Wi-Fi coverage in external environments. White housing blends with building exteriors.

Check Mounting and Connector Compatibility

Verify that your access point or wireless bridge provides N-Type connectors for the antenna cables. Ensure the mounting location supports direct or pole installation with a clear line of sight. Confirm the device operates within the 2.4 GHz ISM band before integrating this kit.

Replaces Lower-Gain Omni Antennas

This kit upgrades from basic whip or lower-gain omni antennas when broader horizontal coverage is needed. The 5 dBi gain improves signal reach for point-to-multipoint links. The jump is worthwhile when existing antennas cannot maintain reliable outdoor client connections.
