With a 1.5 MB packet buffer the switch absorbs burst traffic while maintaining wire-speed forwarding across all 28 ports. Maximum power draw is rated at 280.0 W under full PoE load, dropping to 30.0 W at idle, so heat output remains predictable in a closed cabinet. Fan speed scales with temperature rather than spiking on short bursts, keeping acoustic levels steady during long workdays. The fixed configuration means no module swaps that could interrupt uptime.

Confirm the site can supply a circuit capable of 280.0 W peak draw for the PoE budget you plan to use. Ensure the SFP+ modules you intend to install match the 10 Gbps uplink speed and are on the vendor compatibility list. Cloud management requires outbound internet access on the management VLAN.
