HPE Instant On IAP-304 access point

The HPE Instant On IAP-304 is a dual-radio wireless access point built for small-business environments that need reliable Wi-Fi on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It supports MIMO and beamforming to improve coverage and client throughput. A single RJ-45 port provides wired backhaul and a USB port is available for ancillary functions. The unit is designed for ceiling mounting.

Replaces older single-radio

This model replaces legacy access points that lack dual-band operation or multi-user MIMO capability. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing hardware cannot serve concurrent clients on both frequency bands or does not support beamforming for directional signal gain. It is not suited for buyers who require additional Ethernet ports, PoE+ pass-through, or outdoor-rated enclosures.
