HPE Networking Instant On

HPE Networking Instant On JW825A wireless router 2.5 Gbit/s 802.11ac

SKU CH-ZR41-AC0MD MPN JW825A

Wireless router delivering 2.5 Gbit/s aggregate Wi-Fi with 802.11ac Wave 2 multi-user MIMO and ClientMatch device steering

  • 5 Gbit/s wired uplink removes bottlenecks for multi-gigabit Ethernet networks
  • Aggregate 2.5 Gbit/s Wi-Fi throughput supports high-density environments
  • ClientMatch groups Wave 2 devices on one radio for multi-user MIMO gains
  • 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz delivers fast concurrent connections
  • Integrated Smart Rate port scales Ethernet to 2.5 Gbps without new cabling

Aruba IAP-335 for high-density Wi-Fi

The Aruba IAP-335 is a wireless access point built for lecture halls, auditoriums and busy offices. It delivers an aggregate peak data rate of 2.5 Gbps across both radio bands. This unit suits environments where many 802.11ac Wave 2 devices connect simultaneously.

Mounts on standard hardware with PoE power

Installation uses common mounting brackets and a single Ethernet cable carrying both data and power. The integrated HPE Smart Rate port auto-negotiates up to 2.5 Gbps, so existing cabling often suffices. Ensure the switch port supplies sufficient PoE budget for the 330 Series.

Sustained throughput in crowded spaces

ClientMatch technology groups Wave 2 clients on the 5 GHz radio to maintain multi-user MIMO efficiency. The 5 GHz band handles up to 1,733 Mbps while the 2.4 GHz band manages 800 Mbps. This design keeps capacity high when many users stay connected for long periods.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the JW825A is delivering the 1,733 Mbps 5 GHz and 800 Mbps 2.4 GHz rates after installation?

Check the Instant On dashboard or mobile app for live client throughput; the radios report 5 GHz at 1,733 Mbps and 2.4 GHz at 800 Mbps when Wave 2 clients are connected via ClientMatch.

What ships with the JW825A and what must I source separately?

The box contains the AP-335 unit and a quick-start guide; you must supply a PoE+ power source and Ethernet cabling to the Smart Rate port.

Which model should I choose for a high-density office needing 2.5 Gbps aggregate throughput?

The JW825A (AP-335) is the 330 Series model specified for 2.5 Gbps aggregate data rate with 802.11ac Wave 2 and ClientMatch.
