HPE 8SFF SAS SATA 12G Backplane Kit

The HPE P26427B21 backplane kit adds eight small-form-factor drive bays to a ProLiant DL360 Gen10 server. It supports both SAS and SATA drives at 12G speeds. This accessory targets administrators expanding internal storage capacity in existing rackmount systems.

Fits ProLiant DL360 Gen10 chassis

The kit installs directly into the server chassis to provide the physical connectors and signal routing for up to eight drives. It requires a compatible RAID controller or host bus adapter to manage the attached storage. The backplane frees the front drive cage for hot-plug SAS or SATA media without additional cabling.

Basic carrier backplane included

The package supplies the backplane board and carrier assembly needed for installation. No separate mounting brackets or signal cables are listed in the kit contents. Administrators should verify controller compatibility before deployment.
