SKU CH-MMTZ-T9ZS8 MPN Q8N49A

Omni-directional dual-band antenna pair with 4 dBi gain for Aruba 318 Series access points

  • Dual-band coverage for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks
  • 4 dBi gain extends signal reach for access points
  • Omni-directional pattern radiates evenly in all horizontal directions
  • RP-SMA connectors fit Aruba 318 series access points directly
  • Lightweight 2.72 oz design simplifies ceiling or wall mounting

Aruba AP-ANT-22 dual-band omni antenna 2-pack

This two-pack supplies omnidirectional coverage for Aruba 318 Series access points across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Each antenna delivers 4 dBi gain through an RP-SMA connector. The set is aimed at network administrators extending wireless reach in office or campus deployments.

4 dBi gain across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz

The 4 dBi rating provides moderate signal boost for typical indoor ranges. Performance tapers off in dense structural environments or at extended distances where higher-gain directional models would be required. The dual-band design handles both frequency ranges without retuning.

RP-SMA connectors and lightweight build

Each unit weighs approximately 2.72 oz and attaches directly to compatible access-point ports. The RP-SMA interface ensures a secure screw-on fit for Aruba 318 Series hardware. Buyers needing MIMO arrays beyond two elements or non-Aruba mounting options should verify compatibility first.

Questions about this item

Will the RP-SMA connectors on these antennas fit the Aruba 318 Series access point I already have?

The antennas use RP-SMA connectors, which match the Aruba 318 Series access points listed in the compatibility information.

How can I verify the antennas are performing correctly once attached to the access point?

After installation, check the access point's management interface for signal strength and client connection quality on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Does the pack include mounting brackets or cables, or do I need to order them separately?

The 2-pack contains two omni-directional antennas with RP-SMA connectors weighing approximately 2.72 oz each; mounting hardware and extension cables are not included.
