Vehicle Power Check

Verify that your vehicle supplies a standard 12 V DC accessory socket before ordering. The adapter draws power from that socket and delivers 12 V at 2 A through two independent DC output jacks for dual-screen setups.

Replaces Lost Original Adapter

It replaces a missing or damaged factory charger so the DVD system works again in the car. The jump is worth it when the original unit is unavailable and you need a reliable 12 V 2 A supply with a coaster included.

Questions about this item

Does the HQRP charger include both DC output cables or must I buy a second one separately?

The adapter has two independent DC jacks built in, so both portable DVD screens can be powered from the single unit without extra cables.

My player is a PD9012/37 — is this the correct HQRP version or do I need a different model?

The charger is listed for PD9012, PD9012/17, PD9012/37, PET7402 and PET7402S, so the /37 variant is covered.

The spec says 12 V 2 A — will that run a dual-screen PET7402S without voltage drop on a long journey?

The 12 V, 2 A output matches the player's original adapter rating, supplying enough current for both screens during extended trips.
