Weatherproof Telephone Housing

The Hubbell Gai-Tronics enclosure shelters a standard wall telephone in outdoor or wash-down locations. Its glass-reinforced polyester shell carries a NEMA 4X rating for corrosion and water resistance. A spring-return door closes automatically after each use. Gray finish blends with industrial surroundings.

Installers Needing NEMA 4X Protection

Facilities teams mounting phones in chemical plants, marinas or food-processing areas gain a durable, rated cabinet. The unit includes an internal mounting plate for quick hardware attachment. Buyers who need integrated lighting, keypad access or a larger footprint for cordless base stations should look at other enclosures.

Internal Space For Standard Handsets

Inside dimensions of 7.75 in wide by 11.5 in high by 8.0 in deep accept most conventional wall phones with handset cradles. The spring door adds convenient hands-free closing but does not increase internal volume. Oversized devices or units requiring extra cable loops will not fit comfortably.
