110 Wiring Block 100-Pair Overview

This Hubbell Premise Wiring 110 wiring block provides 100 pairs of termination capacity using 24 clips with a 5-pair design. It supports Category 5e cable performance and includes attached legs for mounting. The block is UL Listed and features four rows of 50 pins each for structured cabling installations.

Suitable Installations and Limitations

This block suits installers terminating 100-pair backbone or horizontal cables in a 110-style cross-connect or patching field. It is not for buyers who need a 4-pair clip configuration, a higher category rating such as Category 6, or a block without attached legs. Installers requiring a different pair count or clip style should look at other 110-series blocks.

Build Integration and Space

The block measures 10 1/4 inches deep by 8 1/4 inches wide, so the rack or wall space must accommodate those dimensions. Attached legs simplify mounting to a 110 mounting bracket or backboard without extra hardware. The 24 clips free up pair management by grouping conductors in 5-pair increments, reducing individual punch-down steps for large-pair-count cables.

Questions about this item

What cable category must I already have terminated for this 110 wiring block to work?

This block is compatible with Category 5e cable performance, so existing Cat 5e runs can be punched down directly.

Will the 5-pair clips on this 100-pair block accept the same punch-down tool I use on older 4-pair blocks?

Yes, the clip pair type is listed as 4/5, meaning the same tool seats both 4-pair and 5-pair clips without change.

How can I confirm the block is seated correctly after punching down all 24 clips?

Verify that each of the 24 clips is fully seated and that the 100 pairs show continuity across the 4 rows of 50 pins per row.
