Outdoor electrical box

The Bell weatherproof single-gang box provides four 1/2-inch threaded outlets and an 18.3 cubic inch wiring capacity for exterior circuits. Die-cast aluminum construction with a gray powder-coat finish resists corrosion and scratches in exposed locations. It includes two closure plugs, an installed ground screw and multi-lingual instructions. UL listing confirms compliance with applicable safety standards.

Capacity and headroom

The 18.3 cubic inch volume accommodates multiple conductors and splices for typical residential outdoor loads such as lighting, receptacles or low-voltage controls. Four hub openings allow flexible conduit entries in any combination while the two supplied plugs seal unused ports. Internal threads accept all standard threaded fittings and conduit per NEMA requirements. The fixed depth and outlet count limit expansion beyond the four entries provided.

Build integration

Detachable mounting lugs give eight orientation choices for surface attachment to walls, posts or ceilings without additional brackets. The gray finish blends with common exterior surfaces and the aluminum body dissipates heat from enclosed connections. Ground screw is factory-installed for quick bonding to the wiring system. Installers must supply conduit, fittings, wire and a compatible cover plate to complete the weatherproof assembly.
