Conduit hanger for EMT 3/4 in

This steel galvanized hanger secures EMT, IMC, or RMC conduit with a trade size of 3/4 in. It mounts to flange thicknesses from 1/8 in to 1/4 in using a retained 1/4-20 bolt. The mounting hole accepts a 0.26 in fastener. Load capacity is rated at 50 lb.

Replaces loose straps or clamps

The screw-on design with a retained bolt removes the need for separate hardware during installation. It covers wire ranges from 14/2 AWG to 10/3 AWG. The upgrade is worth it when a single-piece hanger speeds up runs on beam flanges.

Galvanized finish resists corrosion

Steel construction with a galvanized coating withstands damp or outdoor environments under sustained 50 lb loads. The gray finish does not degrade under continuous mechanical stress. Dimensions are 1 1/8 in length, 23/32 in width, and 2 5/32 in height.

Questions about this item

What flange thickness range does the RACO 2053TH hanger accept?

The hanger clamps onto flanges from 1/8 in to 1/4 in thick, so measure your beam before ordering.

How do I install the RACO 2053TH and what step is often missed?

Slip the hanger over the flange, insert the retained bolt through the 0.26 in mounting hole, and tighten — forgetting to fully seat the bolt is the common error.

When should I replace the RACO 2053TH hanger?

Inspect the galvanized finish regularly; replace the hanger if corrosion appears or after any impact that could reduce its 50 lb load capacity.
