RACO 2608 EMT Grounding Connector

This RACO 2608 connector joins 2 inch EMT conduit using a set-screw connection. The zinc-alloy body provides a concrete-tight seal for the fitting. It is supplied in a plain gray finish without insulation. The component is UL Listed for electrical installations.

Suited for EMT conduit runs needing a grounded

Installers pulling EMT pipe that requires a secure, grounded termination will use this fitting. It is not intended for rain-tight outdoor locations or for conduit types other than EMT. Buyers who need an insulated throat or a compression-style coupling should select a different product.

Trade size 2 in set-screw EMT fitting

The single specification that determines fit is the 2 inch trade size paired with a set-screw connection for EMT conduit. This defines whether the connector matches the conduit diameter and the installation method required on site.

Questions about this item

What size EMT conduit must I already have for the RACO 2608 connector to fit?

The connector is made for 2 in trade-size EMT conduit, so that conduit size must be on hand before installation.

Will the plain-finish zinc alloy hold up when paired with older galvanized EMT runs?

Yes, the zinc-alloy body with plain finish is compatible with standard EMT, including existing galvanized sections.

How can I confirm the RACO 2608 is properly secured after tightening the set screws?

The conduit should not rotate or pull out when the set screws are firmly tightened against the EMT wall.
