Hubbell SS309T Stainless Steel Bushing

The Hubbell SS309T is a stainless steel FRPT pedestal telephone bushing designed for electricians and telecom installers who need a durable 1 inch inner diameter fitting. It protects cables where they pass through pedestal enclosures in outdoor or harsh environments.

Verify thread type and mounting footprint

Before ordering, confirm that your pedestal accepts a female rigid pipe thread connection and that the 1 inch inner diameter matches the cable bundle you are pulling through. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion but requires compatible hardware to avoid galvanic issues.

Replaces worn or corroded pedestal bushings

This bushing upgrades from damaged plastic or rusted steel fittings that no longer seal the enclosure properly. The jump is worth it when the existing entry point allows moisture ingress or when cable insulation is at risk from sharp edges.
