Versatile 9-in-1 USB-C hub

The HUBFINDER 9 IN 1-HUB expands a single USB-C port into nine connections. It provides a 4K HDMI output, three USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C data port, SD and microSD card slots, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a 100 W Power Delivery charging port. The aluminium-bodied adapter measures 12 cm by 4 cm by 1 cm and weighs 0.082 kg. It is aimed at laptop and tablet users who need multiple peripherals from one port.

Build integration and port layout

The hub draws up to 15 W for its own operation and passes up to 85 W to the host device through the PD port. The HDMI 2.0 port supports 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz for mirrored or extended displays. Three USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C 3.0 port each run at 5 Gbps for data only; none of them carry video. The 3.5 mm jack includes a DAC capable of 384 kHz / 32-bit output with microphone input. SD and microSD cards share a single slot. iPadOS 13.1 or later is required for data transfer on tablets.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This hub suits users who want video output, legacy USB-A devices, card reading, wired audio and laptop charging from one compact dongle. It does not suit buyers who need Thunderbolt bandwidth, dual-monitor support, video over the USB-C data port, or Ethernet connectivity. It also does not suit devices whose USB-C port lacks DisplayPort Alt Mode for the HDMI function.

Questions about this item

Does the hub throttle or shut down when it reaches 50 °C during all-day use with PD charging?

The supplier notes the hub may reach 50 °C when PD charging or all ports are active, and states this is normal and not a malfunction.

How loud is the hub when it runs continuously at 50 °C with every port occupied?

The hub has no fan; it is passively cooled and therefore silent even at 50 °C.

My laptop only has USB-C 3.0 data ports — will the 4K 30 Hz HDMI output still work?

Yes, the HDMI port is driven by the hub itself and delivers 4K 30 Hz regardless of whether the host USB-C port supports video.
