Ready-to-use gaming desktop

The Hyper Cyber Ultra X arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and configured, so it boots straight to the desktop. An Intel Core i7-14700K processor with 8 cores and a 5.50GHz turbo frequency drives modern titles. A GeForce RTX 5070Ti with 16GB GDDR6 handles graphics, while 32GB DDR5-6400 memory and a 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD provide capacity and speed.

Thermals and power in daily use

An 850W 80+ Gold power supply feeds the system, and liquid cooling keeps the CPU temperature controlled during typical sessions. The MSI PRO Z790-A MAX WIFI motherboard manages power delivery for the LGA1700 socket. Fan curves stay quiet for general desktop work and media playback, and the white chassis includes RGB lighting that can be adjusted or disabled.

Behaviour under sustained load

During extended gaming or rendering workloads the liquid loop maintains stable CPU clocks without thermal throttling. The 28MB L2 and 33MB L3 caches support consistent throughput for multi-threaded tasks. The 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive sustains high read and write speeds across large file transfers, and the 850W Gold unit delivers steady power without hitting its protection limits.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 4TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive into the MSI PRO Z790-A MAX WIFI motherboard, and what step is often missed?

Insert the drive at an angle into the primary M.2 slot, press it flat, and secure it with the motherboard standoff screw. The step often missed is removing the pre-installed heatsink cover on the board before seating the drive.

What maintenance or replacement will the liquid cooling system and 850W 80+ Gold power supply need over time?

The all-in-one liquid cooler may need coolant top-up or pump replacement after several years if temperatures rise. The 850W 80+ Gold PSU fan can collect dust; clean it periodically and replace the unit if voltage regulation drifts under load.

Which limit appears first when the i7-14700K runs sustained all-core workloads at 5.50GHz turbo with the RTX 5070Ti?

The CPU package power draw and resulting thermal output reach the liquid cooler's dissipation capacity before the 850W 80+ Gold PSU or 32GB DDR5-6400 memory become bottlenecks.
