USB microphone with four polar patterns, tap-to-mute sensor and 3.5mm headphone output
The HyperX QuadCast 2 is a USB-C microphone built for streamers, podcasters and musicians who need studio-quality capture without an audio interface. It connects directly to a PC and includes a 3.5 mm headphone output for zero-latency monitoring. The removable shock mount reduces stand vibration while the red lighting adds visual feedback.
Four selectable polar patterns let you choose cardioid, bidirectional, omnidirectional or stereo to suit solo voice, interviews, room ambience or instrument recording. The tap-to-mute sensor and on-board gain dial give instant control during live sessions. Hi-Res recording captures detail up to the limits of the USB bus, so very high SPL sources may need external attenuation.
This model replaces basic single-pattern USB microphones that lack hardware monitoring or pattern switching. The jump is worthwhile when you need real-time headphone monitoring, multiple pickup patterns or software customisation via HyperX NGENUITY. It is not suited for users who require XLR connectivity or phantom-powered condenser operation.

The 3.5 mm output is built into the microphone itself for direct monitoring; it does not accept a signal from an external XLR interface.
The LED ring shows solid red when live and flashes when muted; pattern changes are reflected by the LED colour shift and can be verified in HyperX NGENUITY.
The box contains the microphone, a removable desktop shock mount, a USB-C cable and a quick-start guide; a boom arm is not included.
