Questions about this item

How do I verify the Xeon E78837 runs at 2.66GHz with 8 cores after installation?

Check the BIOS or operating system CPU identification; it should report 8 cores, 2.66GHz clock, 24MB Smart Cache and 6.4GT/s QPI on an LGA1567 socket.

What ships with the 69Y1855 module and what must I source separately?

The module includes the processor only; a compatible LGA1567 system board, memory, cooling and chassis are required separately.
