Purpose-built heatsink

Compatibility and limits

It suits administrators maintaining or repairing an existing x3650 M4 system that uses the specified Xeon processor. Builders working on a different server platform or a different CPU socket should look elsewhere because the mounting and thermal profile are matched to this specific combination.

What the package provides

The accessory includes only the heatsink itself; no fan, thermal paste or mounting hardware is supplied. Installers must reuse the original retention hardware and apply fresh thermal interface material to ensure proper thermal transfer.
