ICC Cat 6 RJ-45 Coupler

This white in-line coupler joins two RJ-45 patch cables to extend a network run without rewiring. It is tested to exceed Category 6 performance specifications so signal quality is maintained across the connection. The module fits standard ICC faceplates and blank patch panels for a clean installation. Installers and network managers use it when a permanent link must be lengthened quickly.

Replaces field-terminated extensions

Instead of punching down a new jack or crimping a longer cable, this coupler bridges two existing terminated leads in seconds. The jump is worth it when the current cable falls short of a workstation or patch panel and re-termination would add cost or downtime. It is not suited for outdoor or plenum spaces that require rated cable assemblies. Buyers needing shielded or tool-less keystone alternatives should select a different module.

Questions about this item

Will this RJ-45 coupler fit an ICC faceplate?

Yes, the supplier confirms compatibility with ICC faceplates and blank patch panels.

How is the Cat 6 coupler installed and what is the common mistake?

Snap the white module into an ICC faceplate or patch panel until it clicks; the step often missed is verifying the latch is fully seated so the Cat 6 performance rating is maintained.
