Large 8oz ice sticks for wide-mouth bottles

These refillable HDPE #2 applicators measure 5.7 inches tall and hold 8 ounces of water. They are designed for 32 to 64 ounce wide-mouth bottles, jugs, and growlers from brands like Hydro Flask, Klean Kanteen, and Nalgene. The set includes four sticks weighing 0.15 kilograms each.

Fits wide openings and frees you from cube trays

Each stick slides into a wide mouth opening without needing a funnel or small ice cubes. You fill the wide opening with water, leave half an inch of headspace, screw the cap on tightly, and stand it upright in the freezer for 6 to 10 hours. It removes the hassle of cracking trays and fishing out individual cubes.

Melt water is drinkable and dilution is optional

Unlike gel packs, the melted contents are plain water you can drink. Keeping the cap on the stick prevents dilution while still chilling the beverage. The food-safe HDPE plastic withstands repeated freeze-thaw cycles for long-term reuse.

Questions about this item

How long does it take to freeze the 8oz Ice Stick solid?

Freezing takes about 6 to 10 hours depending on your freezer temperature. Fill only to the half-inch mark, stand it upright, and screw the cap on tightly before placing it in the freezer.

Will the HDPE plastic crack or leak after repeated freeze-thaw cycles?

The food-safe HDPE #2 construction is designed for repeated freeze-thaw use. The wide opening makes filling easy and the secure screw cap prevents leaks during freezing and while inside your bottle.

Which wide-mouth bottles accept the 2-inch diameter, 5.7-inch tall stick?

It fits 32 oz to 64 oz wide-mouth bottles such as Hydro Flask, Klean Kanteen, and Nalgene. It does not fit CoolGear bottles. Remove the lid before inserting the stick into the bottle opening.
