Direct Thermal Paper for POS Printers

These Iconex rolls use direct thermal chemistry so they print without ribbons or ink cartridges. Each roll measures 3.13 inches wide by 230 feet long and comes in a canary colour for high-contrast receipts. A carton contains 50 rolls, supplying high-volume retail and hospitality environments.

Consistent Output on Long Print Runs

The thermal coating is formulated to maintain legibility across the full 230-foot length without fading or streaking under continuous use. Rolls feed smoothly in compatible direct thermal printers, reducing paper jams during peak service periods. The canary tint preserves readability even after extended handling.

Replaces Standard White Thermal Rolls

Businesses switching from plain white stock gain instant visual distinction for voided or duplicate transactions. The upgrade is worthwhile when colour-coded receipts speed up end-of-day reconciliation or when staff need to spot exceptions at a glance. Operations that do not require colour coding will see no workflow benefit.

Questions about this item

Does the paper generate any noise or heat when the printer runs all day?

The rolls are passive media; they produce no noise, heat or power draw themselves — only the printer mechanism creates sound and warmth.

What printer interface or roll holder is required for the 3.13-inch width and 230-foot length?

Any direct-thermal printer that accepts 3.13-inch wide rolls on a standard core will feed these 230-foot rolls without adapters.

Will these canary rolls work in an older direct-thermal printer that currently uses white paper?

Yes — the chemical coating reacts to heat the same way, so legacy direct-thermal units print on canary stock without setting changes.
