Radio replacement harness for 2007-up Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles that retains steering wheel controls, factory amplifier, Uconnect.
The iDatalink HRN-HRR-CH1 radio replacement harness is built for select 2007-up Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. It pairs with an ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module and a universal radio-side connector to simplify aftermarket head-unit installation.
The harness maintains factory steering wheel audio controls, amplifier output, Uconnect functions, voice commands and satellite radio during daily driving. It also supports the original backup camera and rear seat entertainment monitor when the optional AVCH1 accessory and iDatalink ADS-HRN(AV)-CHR01 adapter are added.
This harness replaces the factory radio connector when moving to an Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Pioneer receiver while keeping vehicle data displays on the new touchscreen. It is not for vehicles outside the listed brands or model years, nor for installations that do not use a compatible Maestro module.

The harness is passive wiring; all power draw comes from the connected Maestro module and aftermarket receiver, so daily heat and noise depend on those devices.
You need an ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 Maestro module; the harness alone cannot communicate with the vehicle data bus.
Yes, when paired with a compatible Maestro module and supported Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Pioneer receiver, steering-wheel controls are retained.
