Radio replacement harness for select 2007-up Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles that retains steering wheel controls and factory amplifier integration
The iDatalink HRN-HRR-CH1 harness connects an aftermarket stereo to select Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models from 2007 onward. It works with the included ADS-MRR2 interface module to translate factory wiring into standard radio connections. The assembly preserves steering wheel audio controls, voice commands and satellite radio access. Factory amplifier and Uconnect system functions remain active after installation.
This kit removes the need to cut or splice the original vehicle harness when upgrading the head unit. The universal radio-side connector accepts adapters for Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony and Pioneer receivers. The ADS-MRR2 module adds compatibility with select 2006 and newer Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, GM, Honda, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen models. The jump is worthwhile when a clean, reversible installation that retains all factory features is required.
Buyers who need steering wheel controls, factory amplifier output, backup camera feed and Rear Seat Entertainment monitor support will find the necessary connections here. Vehicles outside the listed brand and year ranges cannot use this harness. Installers without an iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 module cannot complete the integration. Those seeking a simple power-and-speaker adapter without data features should look at a basic wiring harness instead.

The harness is designed for select 2007-up Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models and requires the ADS-MRR2 module for integration.
Flashing the ADS-MRR2 module with the correct vehicle firmware before connecting it to the harness is the step installers most frequently overlook.
You will need the iDatalink ADS-HRN(AV)-CHR01 adapter to retain Rear Seat Entertainment functionality with this harness.
