10.5" HD Swivel Screen

The ieGeek DP0179BKUSIGV3 is a portable DVD player built around a 10.5 inch HD LCD panel that swivels for flexible viewing angles. It targets families who want a region-free disc player for road trips or home use and includes a remote control for convenient operation.

5-hour battery and region-free playback

A rechargeable battery provides up to 5 hours of continuous playback, enough for most feature-length films on a single charge. The drive handles DVD±R/RW and CD-R/RW discs without region restrictions, and also reads JPEG photos and MP3 files from USB or SD media.

Car-mount ready with TV sync

The package includes a remote control and the player supports synchronisation with a television for larger-screen viewing. Its compact black chassis is designed for travel, and the swivel screen allows comfortable positioning whether mounted on a headrest or placed on a tray.

Questions about this item

Will the 10.5" HD swivel screen work well for rear-seat passengers viewing from side angles?

The 10.5" HD LCD eye-protective screen uses a higher brightness panel that refuses recycled screens, allowing clear viewing from oblique directions to protect children's eyesight and reduce eye fatigue during travel.

How can I confirm the region-free playback is active after setup?

Insert any DVD from region 1 through 6; the player supports region-free playback for all standard DVDs except Blu-ray, so the disc should start without a region error message.

Does the box include everything needed to play media on a TV via the sync function?

The box contains the ieGeek portable DVD player and a remote control; cables required for the sync TV feature are not included and must be purchased separately.
