Two-computer HDMI KVM switch

The IHDAPP KVM switch lets you operate two computers from a single keyboard, mouse and HDMI monitor. It is aimed at users who alternate between a desktop and a laptop, or between a PC and a console, without re-plugging cables. The metal enclosure adds physical durability for desk use.

4K 30 Hz video and four USB 2.0 ports

Video passes through at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz with HDCP 1.4 compliance, while 1080p and lower resolutions are also supported. The integrated hub provides four USB 2.0 ports so both computers can share flash drives, printers, scanners or cameras. Bandwidth is limited to USB 2.0 speeds, so high-throughput storage will not reach its full rate.

Remote button and USB-powered operation

A wired remote switch button is included alongside the front-panel button, letting you toggle systems from a convenient spot. The unit draws power from the connected computers via USB-B cables, so no external power adapter is needed. Hot-plug support means you can connect or disconnect peripherals without restarting either machine.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K 30 Hz output work properly with my older 1080p monitor?

Yes, the switch supports 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and also handles 1080p or lower resolutions, so your existing monitor will display correctly.

How can I verify the HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 link is active after connecting both computers?

The built-in automatic adjustment system keeps the image smooth and stable, and adaptive EDID/HDCP decryption matches source and display automatically, confirming a valid link.

Which cables are included in the box and what must I provide myself?

The package includes the KVM switch, a remote switch cable and a user manual; you must supply two HDMI cables and two USB-B cables to connect the computers.
