A 4-port DisplayPort 1.2 KVM switch lets you control four PCs with one keyboard, mouse and 4K 60 Hz display
The IHDAPP 4-Port DisplayPort 1.2 KVM Switch lets one keyboard, mouse and monitor control up to four computers. It accepts 3840x2160 resolution at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour sampling when the source and display support it. The unit is driver-free on Windows, Linux, macOS and common distributions. It suits multi-system workstations that need a single console.
Instead of four keyboards, mice and monitors, this switch consolidates them into one set. The upgrade is worth it when desk space, cable clutter or context-switching time become bottlenecks. Auto-scan and timed switching let you monitor systems hands-free. Memory retains the last selection after power loss.
Connect each PC with the included DisplayPort and USB 2.0 cables, add power, and the switch is ready. Switching works via keyboard hotkeys, mouse gestures, front push-button, remote controller or RS232 commands. Common issues are loose cables or monitors that do not declare 4K 60 Hz capability, which limits the output resolution.

The package includes four DisplayPort cables and four USB cables, so each of the four computer connections has both video and USB links ready to use.
RS232 switching uses the serial port on the switch; connect a suitable serial cable to send switching codes from a control system.
The included power cable supplies the switch; if the memory function fails after power loss, verify the cable and its connection are secure.
