Four-computer KVM hub

The IHDAPP 402DP lets four desktops or laptops share one keyboard, one mouse and two DisplayPort monitors. It handles resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz with HDR 10 and Dolby Vision support. The switch is aimed at multi-system workstations, streaming setups and test benches that need simultaneous access to several machines.

Cabling and peripheral layout

Each computer connects through a DisplayPort link and a USB 3.0 cable, while two DisplayPort outputs drive the monitors. Three extra USB 3.0 ports on the front accept keyboards, mice, printers or scanners, and a dedicated audio microphone jack handles voice input. A supplied power adapter keeps the unit stable and all ports face the rear to reduce desk clutter.

Sustained switching behaviour

Push-button switching and a wired remote both change the active computer without software drivers on Windows, Linux, Mac, Unix, Ubuntu or Raspberry Pi. The DisplayPort 1.4 interface maintains 32.4 Gbps throughput during extended sessions, and backward compatibility with DP 1.2 ensures older sources stay usable.
