Dual-computer dual-monitor KVM

This IHDAPP KVM switch connects two computers to two monitors using one HDMI and one DisplayPort input per system. It supports video up to 8K at 60 Hz and backward compatible rates including 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p. A wired desktop controller and front push buttons provide two ways to switch the active computer instantly.

Check your video outputs and cables

Each computer must supply both an HDMI and a DisplayPort signal to match the switch’s paired inputs and outputs. Cross-display routing is not supported, so HDMI input A maps to HDMI output A and DisplayPort input B maps to DisplayPort output B. Verify your monitors accept the desired resolution and refresh rate over the chosen interface before ordering.

Replaces single-monitor or single-interface switches

The unit upgrades setups that previously required separate KVMs for HDMI and DisplayPort or that could only drive one display. The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous dual-monitor operation at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz across two computers and want shared USB 3.0 peripherals including a USB-C device without installing driver software on Windows macOS or Linux.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories come with the IHDAPP KVM switch and what must I provide?

The box includes the switch, two USB-A to USB-A cables, a 12 V DC power adapter, a 1.5 m wired desktop controller and a user manual. You must supply one HDMI and one DisplayPort cable for each computer (four video cables total) plus any USB peripherals you want to share.

My monitors are 4K 120 Hz and 8K 60 Hz — will this switch handle both?

Yes. The switch supports DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, delivering up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz. It is backward compatible with 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 60 Hz and 1080p, so both resolutions work simultaneously on the two outputs.

What does the 8K 60 Hz rating mean when I connect two PCs and two monitors?

Each computer needs one HDMI and one DisplayPort input matched to the corresponding HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. The switch passes up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz per monitor without cross-display mixing, and USB 3.0 peripherals share at 5 Gbps across both PCs.
