This USB-powered RJ45 splitter turns a single Ethernet cable into two active connections. It is aimed at home or office users who need to connect two devices — such as a PC and a smart TV — where only one wall port or cable run exists.

1000Mbps per port headroom

Each of the two output ports supports up to 1000Mbps Gigabit speeds using standard 8-core Cat5 through Cat8 cables. The actual throughput is limited by the upstream router or switch, so the splitter will not increase bandwidth beyond what the source provides.

USB power and Cat8 compatibility

A USB cable supplies the 5V needed to run both ports simultaneously without signal interference. The adapter works with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7 and Cat8 cables and maintains a stable link over distances up to 100 metres.
